I live in the city of derangels. Well, the city of angels.

Creating a post-apocalyptic world full of fairies? Not too far fetched for me. It’s a mix of lit, music, and film.

Everything in this invented world exists on some creative plane, with the aid of AI here and there. If I’m being completely honest, I’m a working writer, filmmaker, and artist — and I’ve had some success in all three fields. But the more I want to push certain boundaries, the more the dinosaurs of these fields double down on mediocrity.

I’ve overheard so many d-bags talk about using AI for all sorts of projects, and it’s always given me the ick. Well, I’m trying to Robin Hood that ish, to create a world as a proof of concept in order to eventually make creative projects that employ actual artists, singers, filmmakers, etc.

Maybe I’m being idealistic. Maybe I’m bored. Either way, I live in a world I’m only now materializing. So let’s navigate this ick together. Because sadly, this is one of the few ways I’ve been able to let my queerdo fairy freak flag fly.
